Lilinoe K. Russell was born on Hawaii Island and raised in the close-knit town of Honoka‛a, where a rich blend of cultures and traditions thrived under the shadows of the sugar plantations and Paniolo (Cowboy) lifestyle.
Growing up, she was captivated by the tales shared by the kūpuna (elders)—stories of history, myths, and the legends of Hawaii that sparked her imagination.
With a deep love for the supernatural, Lilinoe has always been drawn to tales of magic, mystery, and the haunting obake (ghost) stories passed down through generations. Storytelling is in her blood, woven into the very fabric of her being.
